Step 1: On the main tab of the app, tap on the photo icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: You’ll see that there are five icons below this icon (with numbers) representing different parts of your film –
The first one is for taking pictures. Tap on this button if you have already taken some photos on your device that you want to use as part of your video.
How to make a Tiktok video with pictures
Step 1: Fill in the Name field with an appropriate title for your video.
Step 2: Place a photo of yourself and your friends in the video by tapping on the camera icon in the top-left corner of the screen. You’ll see that there are three icons below this icon
The first one is for taking pictures, which you can use to take some photos and add them into your video.
The second one is for adding stickers or emojis to your photos, which can be really fun!
The third one is for swapping out those stickers and emojis with videos from friends. Tap on this button if you have friends who want to be in your video too!
Step 3: When you tap on the camera icon, it will prompt you to take a photo or select a photo from your gallery (if already taken). If you don’t have any photos selected, just tap on “take new photo” at the bottom of the camera screen. Once taken, this will automatically be added into your film as a still picture.
Step 4: After taking a picture, press “share” at the bottom of the camera screen to share it via social media or send it privately.
The different parts of your film
The second icon is for adding text. This will allow you to write a caption or title that goes with the video.
Step 1: The third icon is for adding stickers and emojis to your film.
Step 2: The fourth icon is for adding audio, which will play during your film.
Step 3: The last icon is for uploading your finished video so that friends can watch it!
Take photos on your device
Step 1: For the second icon, tap on the ‘record video’ button. This will allow you to take a video with your phone’s camera.
Step 2: After recording the video, tap on the icon of the person you want to include in your film.
Step 3: Tap on the button that says ‘add’ and select which part of your film you want them to be a part of.
Step 4: Tap on save and now you can share your Tiktok!
Start a new Tiktok video.
The second button is for videos that you’ve already taken on your device.
The third button is for videos from the camera roll. The fourth button is for pictures from the camera roll. The last one is for photos that are in your gallery and not in the camera roll.
Step 1: From there, select which pictures you want to use by tapping on them
Step 2: Now, move over to the video tab. Tap on the green plus symbol in the top-right corner of the screen and it will bring up a selection of different effects and filters.
Step 3: Choose one from there or just tap on start to make a new video without any filters at all.
Step 4: Once you’re done making your film, scroll down and tap on publish so that everyone can watch
